Selection Procedure
- Written Exam: The written exam is the first stage of the selection process. It consists of two papers โ Paper I (General Studies) and Paper II (Essay, Comprehension, and Precis Writing).
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Candidates who qualify in the written exam will be called for the PET. It assesses the physical fitness of the candidates.
- Medical Examination: Candidates who qualify in the PET will undergo a medical examination to assess their medical fitness for the CAPF forces.
- Interview: The final stage of the selection process is the interview. Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed by a UPSC board.
