Eligibility Details Of DRDO DIPAS
- Research Associate:
- Educational Qualification: Ph.D. in any branch of Life Sciences.
- Age Limit: Maximum 35 years, with age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates.
- Junior Research Fellow (DRDO Fellowship):
- Educational Qualification: M.Sc or M.Tech in Life Sciences, Human Physiology, Biochemistry, Biomedical Sciences, Biotechnology, Biophysics, Molecular Biology, Zoology, Bioinformatics, Genetics with valid NET/GATE.
- Age Limit: Maximum 28 years, with age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates.
- Junior Research Fellow (Own Fellowship):
- Educational Qualification: Same as above, but must have a valid Junior Research Fellowship from Central Government Departments and their Agencies.
- Age Limit: Same as JRF (DRDO Fellowship).

DRDO DIPAS Salary Details
- Research Associate: ₹67,000 per month plus House Rent Allowance (HRA) as per DRDO rules.
- Junior Research Fellow: ₹37,000 per month plus HRA. JRFs will be elevated to Senior Research Fellows (SRF) after two years, subject to satisfactory performance.
